David Hathaway-Price - Graphic Designer
I studied Art Foundation at Swansea and Illustration at Cardiff University. After a short career as a freelance illustrator, I decided to move into teaching and spent seventeen years as a Fine Art / Graphic Design Tutor in South Wales.
Having met my partner and moving to Wirral earlier this year, I left teaching behind and started a Portraiture business (Photography being another passion of mine).
My current work is a combination of 3D and Digital painting. It's lovely to have all the materials I will ever need contained within a small electronic box attached to a screen. For one thing, it takes up far less space than the easels and canvas I used to use and for another; I make far less mess. Having said that, I doubt I'll be able to resist the pull of Oil Paint forever.
I've always had a love of Fantasy and my work reflects that.
